SCROLL DOWN. THE LINK TO THE LESSON IS BELOW THE TUTORIAL DESCRIPTION

Call them buds, bells or stylised berries, these cute fabruc flower buds will not leave you indifferent. Experiment with colour and texture of your fabrics, use them on individual stems or join into larger clusters, combine with larger flowers or use them on their own – the sky is the limit with these flower buds. Personally, I prefer using them as original filler elements in compositions such as boutonnieres or headpieces.

The Video Tutorial demonstrates and explains how to cut, shape and assemble the little buds from scratch using just one tool.
As as stylised flower these buds do not have any recognisable leaves, however you can easily finish them with essentia style narrow leaves that are common for most spring bulbs. Alternatively, be creative with your foliage and pick more interestingly shaped leaves to add originality to your pieces.

With this video tutorial you receive access to 25+ minutes of video instructions from the practising flower artist. Watch the video through the artist’s eyes, follow the instructions and create, create, create!

Level: beginner with tools (requires a flower iron with a set of tools, previous experience in fabric flower making is helpful but not necessary)
