Architectural, symmetrical, monochrome, stylish… meet my new anemones, contemporary edit.
It is high time we revisited this popular flower to recreate it in fabric. New symmetrical anemone template has been developed especially for this Demonstration. However, do not be fooled by its seemingly simplistic shape.
This demonstration is suitable for students of any level. Some flower shaping tools are required to achieve the necessary 3D shaping on the flower parts.
The demonstration will include the preparation, shaping and assembly of the anemone flower. Svetlana will talk about the choice of fabrics that can be used for the making of these flowers as well as 2 options for the centre of the flower. We will discuss possible finishes, scale and wearability.
At the end of the talk Svetlana will answer your burning questions, if there are any left.
