Keeping in with the season, it is high time we revisited beutiful camellia flowers and introduced some exciting changes to the classic design.
Join Svetlana for a talk and practical demonstration on this contemporary version of fabric camellias.
With the templates borrowed directly from nature we will create a slightly irregular realistic looking camellia using a number of different fabrics.
In this design you will learn to make new composite leaves for this and other flower pieces.
Turn this contemporary looking camellia into an evening brooch, a hat trim or a casual corsage, as always there are lots of potential options.
At the end of the talk Svetlana will reply to your contemporary camellia related questions, if there still are any left.

A recording of the Fabric Camellias. Contemporary Edit Demo will be available to access after the event for the registered participants for you to rewatch again as many times as required when using the demonstrated techniques in your own creations later.
