NEW! Double organza wedding butterflies

Although lace butterflies (cream and coloured) have proven successful, today I wanted to introduce their cousins which are for some reason being a bit neglected. I am talking about double organza butterflies. In the picture you can see the option with a silver thread between the layers of organza. However I also have a copper thread version of this fabric. Here the butterflies are made in white as a wedding decor but organza being pure silk can of course be coloured in any … Read More

Mint and turquoise butterfly headband

It is time to present one of my last creations here which I am rather proud about. First, I like the colours, very summery brights and at the same time cooling mint and turquoise shades. Second,  virtually nobody is indifferent to butterflies! And we have 3 mounted onto this headband, all of them in different colours, textures and shapes. I have used lace, 3 kinds of silk fabrics (satin, pongee, organza), seed beads in a lovely mix of colours and, of … Read More

Bluebells

Another inspiration from one the Japanese flower making tutorials is this stem of fantasy bluebells. I made them in intense blue, but would like to recreate in white and soft pink later on. LB Fascinator

Here is another headband, or rather a little fascinator to compliment an LBD, or in fact any cocktail dress. It might look gothic at first but beads and lace add a lot of femininity to it let alone fragile peacock feather antennae! ☺ Had to model myself this time as nobody else was available

They come in endless shades of  pink, red, violet, purple, in fact any shade between white and chocolate brown. Dust off your summer hats

Despite all that rain that has been pouring down on us for the last what? 4 weeks I have not stopped waiting for summer sunshine and warm days.
